Oxford Dictionary - I had too high expectations about it but I liked grammar tips.

British National Corpus - I dont use it to search common words. I use it more for search prepositions.
Mondofacto - quite good explanative dictionary.
Hyperdictionary - quite good, very many definitions.
Longman Dictionary - In my opinion: pointless.
Merck Source - gives words in sentenceses.
Cambridge Dictionaries Online - didn´t like it. I would rather use some other dictionary.
Medical dictionaries are not for me.
General English – Estonian dictionary - simple, but vocabulary is too poor.
One Look - you can searh words in different dictionaries. Good idea.
Keeleveeb - quite good and simple to use.
Your Dictionary - almost favourite. Quite many information and simple to use. Pronounciation. Sentence examples are also quite good.
Säästva arengu sõnaseletusi - quite good and environmental dictionary but hard to use.
Keeleveeb: I usually use some dictionaries in this page. There are one environmental dictionary. There are speciality words in eight languages. This is good for search to speciality words.

A Finnish language based dictionary: It`s quite good dictionary. When I studied finnish I used that dictionary.
Medical dictionary: it`s difficult to use for me. English – Finnish medical dictionary: I think it is normal dictionary but words finding can take some time.
enet.animato.ee : it`s easy to use.
OneLook dictionary: it`s good because you can searh words in different dictionaries.
Environmental dictionary: it`s quite difficult to use.

An English (animato.ee)- This page is one of the pages I use to use, when I want to look up some words.
An English (hyperdictionary)- It is simple to use and again good dictionary.
Longman dictionary - That dictionary I use then, when I really do not find any definition for my word, what I searching for.
Cambridge dictionary - It is fairly good page.
General English - Estonian dictionary - Again a simple English - Estonian dictionary.
OneLook dictionary - It is good dictionary, because I find word in different dictionaries.
Environmental dictionary - I agree with others, that this dictionary is hard to use.
Eestikeele instituut - Just a simple Estonian - English dictionary, what I can use.
Keeleveeb is good for finding different dictionaries, since it has so many links and it is also easy to use cause the links are grouped.
ReplyDeleteI quite like Oxford dictionaries. I am quite used to them.
I do not use Finnish or Russian dictionaries.
British National Corpus is really easy to use. I think it it best to look up common everyday language from there (mainly prepositions used).
So far have not had to use any Medical dictionaries. They might be useful though.
For English Estonian dictionaries I use something else (http://aare.pri.ee/dictionary.html) and also books.
Keeleveeb - I like it too, because there are many useful links together.
ReplyDeleteOxford dictionary - word explanations are difficult to understand for me.
Enet.animato.ee and www.eki.ee –In my opinion there is too little information, not enough.
Hyperdictionary.com - It is the best what I have found, there is lot of information and simle to use which is important if you need information quickly.
Environmental dictionary- this thing needs a user manual!:)
